Booking requests must be in writing on our Rental Agreement form; all reservations are subject to final confirmation by the owner. Upon receiving our written confirmation, the renter must send one-half of the amount due to the owner within seven days. The second half of the payment, plus a security deposit, are due 60 days before arrival. Failure to comply will result in a booking cancellation. For short-notice rentals, full rent payment as well as security deposit are required upon confirmation of the Rental Agreement.

Any cancellation by the renter will be subject to the following penalties:

- 15% of base rent if cancellation occurs prior to l20 days of arrival date;

- 50% of base rent if cancellation occurs between 120 days and 60 days of arrival date

- l00% of base rent if cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival date

We advise our clients to take cancellation insurance.

SHOULD THE OWNER FOR SOME UNFORSEEN REASON NEED TO CANCEL A RESERVATION (this has never occurred), THE RENTER WOULD BE IMMEDIATELY NOTIFIED, AND ALL MONEY PAID WILL BE REFUNDED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF SAID NOTICE.

In France, a security deposit is part of any rental agreement. Inventory is updated before a renter’s arrival, a copy of which is given to the new renter, It is the renter’s responsibility to alert our Paris directrice of any breakage or any other irregularity. For phones without cards, it takes 2 weeks for the owner to receive a bill from the French telephone company, which allows us time to calculate the long distance calls. Security deposits are returned within 4 weeks after departure. The whole process is painless, civilized and prompt. The owners aim to make the experience as pleasant as possible, with the hope that the renters will wish to return the following year.
